Yes I did send them my measurments and I did them myself, and I did have chris help me and I told him to squeeze the measuring tape a little lol!! BC I really do want to get this weight off and I didnt want to have the dress altered.  I mean it almost goes over, the only thing Im thinking is I measured my hips where it said to measure but I also thought your hips were you widest part and my wides part is more like where my legs are so thats why im thinking its tight there, just a few more inches off and it will go down.

Brandy the dress looks awesome! More motivation to lose lose lose!!

Yeah it does feel great to check some things off my list! So happy too that my dad just put the deposit down for the AHR rentals. I hope he keeps paying for stuff lol  These two events and my honeymoon are costing a small forture. Well actually it's not that bad cause i am a bargin shopper and master negotiator lol I am going to have a shit load of stuff for sale after both events for sure!

FYI- Tylenol is not a good med for hangover kits. I read online (even started a thread about it) that taking Tylenol with alcohol still in your system can be extremely damaging to your liver. Asperin isn't good either. You want to stick with ibuprofen (Advil) or naproxin (Aleve) or a natural type of med. I had no idea about this either until I started price comparison shopping and then decided to do a search on what's the best headache med for a hangover. Brandy, I totally know you'll be able to make that dress fit, and not through alterations, you are too motivated for that. BTW, I think I've finally decided on a wedding band, when I get it I'll put up a photo.

I got a hangover template from another bride on here that shared her template. I am trying to attach it hold on.  She has it on another thread. I hope this helps. She got these cute long white favor boxes and filled them up and used these labels on the top. So cute!

Do you have a Nordstrom near you? If you do they have a huge shoe department and I mean huge. If you look you can find some reasonable shoes! Also don't rule off buying white satin and then have them dyed your color.

Brandy - For the static on your dress, trying rubbing a dryer sheet in between the layers? Also, maybe if you try on your dress with a smoothing undergarment it will slide over your hips easier? I have that same problem and sometimes even wearing control top nylons helps.

TLGnhci - It was me that had the pink crinoline. I was originally going to dye it, but I first attempted to add hot pink netting between the layers. It was a lot easier since I just used the iron on fusible webbing to attach it. Basically, I just threaded the top of the netting so that I could gather it nicely, pinned it into place and then ironed it with the no-sew hem tape. That would probably be your best solution if your crinoline is already attached.

I finished the boutonnieres last night. So now I just have to figure out the mother's corsages and I will be done all the flowers. FI thinks I'm crazy every time I ask to go to Michaels to pick up something for DIY. But then I tell him how much I saved and he's thankful I figured these things out.
