Plus they still look awesome and you can wear them when you want :)

Tris, so I finally bought my hair and the clips and the thread from Sally Beauty Supply and I was wondering if you had any tips on how to make the clips stay in better.  I guess I just have really fine hair and I need to straighten it so that the extensions look more natural and when I straighten it, it gets even more fine.  I have my engagement shoot tomorrow and maybe I'm being overly ambitious in wanting to wear them, but it's pretty cool, I have to say.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

@Brandy, really cute shoes! I am definitely a fan. As much as you don't want to wear your wedding shoes before your wedding, I'm pretty sure they'll get more comfortable after you break them in.  It seems like a lot of people put the Old Navy flips flops in their OOT bags and the guests love them.  It does suck though that they're not comfy out of the box.  :(

@Teira, both beautiful dresses, I'm sure you'll look gorgeous in either and your TTD will be awesome. I'm only more of a fan of the second because of the bling, but that's just me.

@Greys, I was only able to see the one dress as well, but it is beautiful.  Thanks for sharing those TTD shots, Brandy. I can only hope mine come out even half as beautiful as those.

@Tenny, good luck with the OOT bags, I think I've finally finished mine...just waiting for the rest of the stuff I ordered to come in.  The trick is to stop looking for things once you've spent enough, I'm still working on that ;)

Hope you all had a Merry Christmas and enjoy this next short week before New Years!

Michelle,

I have really thick hair so I don't have much experience with putting them in thin hair :S... I usually wear mine curly, curl them with my straightener and then curl my real hair as well, then pin back just the hair from the crown of my head and clip them in as close to the roots as I can, then untie it and hairspray like mad, haha! I've worn them straight too it's a little more difficult but I've heard others say they tease their hair a bit to make them stay in better, which makes sense. It's worth a try at least :)! Good luck!! I'm sure they look gorgeous (and I know, it's so much fun to have ridiculously long hair, haha, it's such a girl thing :) !)

@Greys - I too could only see the one dress, but I absolutely love it!!!

@Teira - I love the dresses you ordered!

@Tenny - I think the OOT bags are a lot of fun, I've been taking some time to figure out how I want to do them exactly, but I love the idea of them!  I hope you have fun with them!!!

You ladies are making me want to go get my other dress that I think I have decided to wear for the reception/dinner at the resort.  I haven't completely decided to get a second dress, but I think it makes sense.  My big hesitation right now is that I'm a little bigger than I want to be, and I want something flattering... so, we'll see how it goes!

Yeah, I think Im going to try and break them in as much as possible, I wont be wearing them for the wedding, thats what I ordered the one shoes for with the flowers on them as long as they look right with my dress, they should be in this week!

And my TTD is supposed to ship by this Friday!!!!!  Chris also got me these really cute starfish clips to put in my hair.

Ooh, this week should be a very exciting week for you then!  That's very sweet of him to get you the clips for your hair!  I've been thinking of getting something similar for my bouquet actually...  We are making the bridesmaid bouquet's before we leave, and I got purple dragonflies to include there.  I love the star fish though!!

So, am I the only one that wants to put away all of the wedding decorations and jump on the wedding projects??  I told FI last night that I just wanted to undecorate so I can jump on the wedding stuff!!  Over the last few days (when I wasn't doing something for Christmas) I was working on narrowing my options for the spa and also for our dinner after the ceremony.  I'm totally in the mood to do wedding stuff!!
