 It's all thanks to signature vacations   right off the batt when FI and I booked, they reserved 30 seats on our plane for potential guests. and through our group quote, the 21st person is free. we didn't tell our guests this little tidbit in hopes of one of us getting a free trip hehe

I second this comment! I can't believe no one has booked yet! I would be freaking!

We made our parents book right away!  Our group rate quote was only valid for so long though, and we needed to book 5 rooms to get it so we just made sure we got those 5 rooms booked asap.

Hopefully people start booking for you Teira!

I have one aunt that bought her plane ticket, other then that i have no one booked yet either!! I dont know what everyone is waiting for, they were all bugging me to give them the info before I had it all set up. And on top of that, two of my cousins and one of my friends got pregnant and now cant come! Im really stressing.

Seriously! I've gotten to the point where I'm so stressed out I don't want to even talk about the wedding other than on here with you ladies! My guests have until the 22nd to put down their $100 deposit per person, I'm praying people will book by then! I'm afraid a lot of people are trying to wait until they gettheir tax refunds early next year and I'm worried everything is going to be so booked! I've honestly gotten to the point where I'm afraid we made a mistake doing a DW , it's like heart breaking that nobody has booked! Everybody says they want to go but I'm not sure if anybody other than our parents are actually going to go and FI's dad says he's not going, everything is a mess!

Awww Teira I feel so bad for you guys but if it helps any we have 43 booked and 4 to book still and I am wishing that I had listened to Jason (my FI) and we just went the two of us with our parents! It would have been so many less headaches, costs and stressing out if it were an intimate small wedding like he initially wanted. Just remember the day is all about you guys and in the end it won't really matter who is there as long as you two show up lol

I find that people tend to wait last minute for these things and they just don't understand the planning involved but don't stress put everything at the back of your mind and it will all work out in the end!

Have exactly what you want done and what items you want to buy with all websites lined up on a page so that when you do get final numbers next year then you can buy what you need at that time.

Im pretty frustrated right now that FI dad hasnt booked yet, but yet he and his new wife just dropped $3500 on a house rental in the outerbanks! Like hellooooo the wedding should be way higher on your priority list! I better not hear them say they just cant afford it! They are always talking about how broke they are.

Thanks for all the support ladies, it's so nice to be able to get it all off my chest because other than BDWers nobody else really understands .

 

Brandy- I'm in the same boat with my dad, they are always spending money and buying everything but complain about how tight money is and say they won't know if they'll be able to go to Mexico until after thefirst of the year! I feel bad asking people to spendthe money to travel but they go on a big trip every year so I don't know why this can't be their big trip

I totally agree girl! If you can spend the money any other time, then why cant you make this your vacation this year and see your son or daughter get married!
