I just started planning my destination wedding. I have no clue how to go about but a good friend recommended me to this site. I already see a lot of helpful ideas. I want my destination wedding in Playa del Carmen. Any "All inclusive" resorts you guys recommend? oh, and it's important that it's kid friendly... any ideas are appreciated... =)

I was also thinking of contacting destinationweddings.com, does anyone have any feedback on their services?

Well I would suggest you use a TA from here. Jill is great!!!!!!!

It would be hard for one of us to give you different resorts only cause there are SO many!!!!! My TA just narrowed it down to the things I need to have and I chose from there.

There is alot of info around here...just start clicking and reading!!!

Welcome and happy planning!!!!!!! :)

Welcome! I was in the same position as you a few months ago. I went to destinationweddings.com before I found this site. Check out the resorts in Riviera Maya on that site (it lists them all). FYI Dreams resorts are kid friendly and Dreams Riviera Cancun is very close to PDC from what I understand. Good luck with your decision!

Welcome! If you've decided where to have the wedding, go into the area that is specific to it (i.e. DR, Mexico, Jamaica) and start reading through the threads that talk about the hotels. Also, if you go into the general area there is a section on reviews. These are actual reviews posted by BDW brides and it is a wealth of information. Lastly, a TA you trust will be really helpful. Those that advertise on this site have lots of experience in booking destination weddings and will be a good resource for you. Good luck!
