Newbie Still Lost...

This is Lauren and I am planning a DW in either March, April, or May 2011 and am between Cabo and St. Thomas. I have been searching all different resorts in each location and am very confused. I am planning on about 50 guests so far. I would like the ceremony at a Catholic Church. After the ceremony I would like to do a cocktail hour with passed hors d'oeuvres followed but a seated dinner. I am looking for a photographer, dj, and cake as well. I just dont even know what to do at this point. Ive been hearing of people hosting the Wedding at a Villa? I am so lost and overwhelmed and feel like I am getting nowhere Can anyone help?

Welcome and Congrats! The first thing you need to do is take a deep breath!! before you begin researching photographers, DJ, cake, make a list of must haves for your special day. Research the travel aspect and contact travel agents to see if they can offer suggestions. Once you make you decision on location and venue, everything else will fall into place.

Congrats Lauren and welcome to this forum. I totally agree Sheree. Contact a TA or check out the cabo forum and reviews to see if it's what you want. Once you decide a location and resort then you can look at DJs, photographers, etc. Enjoy planning!
