I did not find a thread on this but DH and I are planning a vacation for April or May and would really like to do a AI in Aruba I have seen mixed reviews on TripAdvisor on resorts so I thought I would ask here on what your thought are on a great AI in Aruba. TIA!

I am getting married in Aruba on May 30, 2010. After a long search for the right island/venue, we chose Aruba.

 

Yes, it is pricey but absolutely gorgeous and upscale. We did NOT want an all inclusive that we would be "stuck" at for a week. Plus 1/2 of our guests were arriving from South America so visas were also a concern since getting U.S. visas is a major pain plus more money.

 

We are getting married at the Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort & Casino which is stunning. It is definitely pricey but it was honestly the most beautiful resort that I found.

 

TA Maureen - if you see a bride at the Hyatt getting married - that might be ME!!!!!!
