TTD in Playa del Carmen?

Has anyone had (or will have) their TTD photos in Playa?

 

We are getting married in Dreams Tulum which is about 30 mins south of Playa. Our photographer gave us the option of going to Playa the day after our wedding to do the TTD. I have never been to Playa so I'm not sure what to expect.

What do YOU want out of your TTD photos? Do you want a city atmosphere, beach photos, garden photos, etc?

 

The reason I ask is Playa is definitely a city atmosphere, but if you wanted beach shots, since you're at Dreams Tulum I would just recommend going to Tulum. But... perhaps you've asked for something specific and that's why your photographer wants to go to Playa?
