My idea for table numbers...

I don't know if anyone else has posted about this, but this is my idea: I'm taking pictures of numbers written in the sand, then putting the pictures in frames. I think I'll buy unfinished frames at a craft store and then paint them in the colors of my wedding and hot glue those little wooden things on them (palm trees, shells, etc). These will be my table numbers! Has anyone done something like this? What do you all think

Ya someone on this forum mentioned it before. I know I've seen pictures of it, but I can't seem to remember where... I'll see if I can find some pictures for you.

i was thinking you could pick a couple of items (say you were having 3 tables)

shell
sand dollar
crashing wave
etc.

take photos of those at the beach with the sand as the background and then frame those. If you self print your place cards you can insert those images on the place cards on the left or right so they coordinate to the tables with the same icon.

OR you and your fiance could print out table numbers in your wedding colors and go to the beach with a friend and have the friend take photos of you both holding up the numbers. it would look especially neat if you both wore white linen or something very beachy and tropical.

i've seen this done many different ways - and i think what you're talking about doing would look really nice!
