Yup. We received 2 checks for $250 each as gifts with the "payable to" line empty and instead of depositing them to our account, we wrote in cash and deposited it into their account and immediately emailed them and they confirmed within a few days.

He is retiring? Wow, I didn't hear anything about him retiring. He is supposed to be doing our ceremony in May 2014. I'm going to have to check back with him to be certain everything is still on schedule.

AR-Dreamwedding,

Your invites sounds SOO cool! I'm sure they got everyone geared up and excited to go. I espescially love the RSVP card! Awesome!

We decided to go digital with the invites so we did a Save the Date video and are going to send e-vites with our website. It's saving some money, but much more time consuming than I thought.

You are so lucky to have been able to go digital.  I have so many older family members that are not online so I had to do regular invites.  I would have loved to do a video and e-vites.  I did email the website to my younger family members but since I have so much family, it still cost quite a bit to do magnet save the dates and traditional invites...especially once I take the postage in consideration.  The postage killed me...lol

Hi ladies,

Does anyone have a list of the "wedding signs" that Mayte has?  I see a few of the same signs in different pictures, but not sure if I have to buy any of my own.  Looking to save some money!  Thank you!

Smart move! But like so many others, most of our families are not computer literate lol so sadly we had to take the hit and spend the money on actual invites. Thanks for the compliments... I have to admit I was a little in love with my invites :) I can totally understand the time consuming part but when you are done, you will feel so amazing!
