We did electronic save the dates and invitations. If anyone thought it was rude, they didn't mention it. It saved us a lot of money which we were then able to put towards other aspects of our wedding, like awesome foods and open bar for our guests. 

What did you do for guests without email addresses? also what website that you use for your electronic invitations?
