Ack! I didn't like my hair and makeup trial! What now?

Id also recommend having pictures on hand and bringing your own materials as well. If you like a certain base etc. Just because they do tend to have a heavier hand in things. Also from the experiences ive seen with make up artists they tend to be heavy on the hand because of the camera lighting etc and so that the make up "shows" on the pictures. So again id just bring a lot of pictures when your down there again so she sees exactly what your looking for.

ugh, I wish I could have left the visit more confident b/c now I have so many doubts and worries as to how it'll go on the actual day - esp. b/c she did the exact opposite of what I asked her to do on her 2nd try.

 

does anyone have recommendations on things I should definitely stress to my hair / makeup artists? any artists out there who could give tips/advice on common miscommunication items? are pictures really enough?

 

I saw the makeup video posted by clfaidl2 and there are certain face shaping steps that my artist didnt do so now I'm paranoid all over again!

This whole thing worries me too with not knowing who I am dealing with in advance. I am not worried about my hair so much but I think I will bring back up makeup just in case it turns out bad.
