How are you getting the OOT bags to Mexico? Shipping or on the plane?

I just checked how much it would cost to ship my OOT bags to DREAMS puerto vallarta and it was $200.00

How is everyone getting them there?

SHould I just buy the stuff at the costco and walmart there and assemble the bags there?

please help I am very confused

Hi there! Most girls pack all of their OOT bag stuff and assemble them once they reach their destination. Most places you do not want to ship to, just for the fact of it getting stuck in customs or stolen.

I agree, I've only heard horror stories of shipping stuff in Mexico. I am packin the bags & putting them together in Mexico.

We're bringing the contents with us, but also separating some of it for FI's parents & brother to bring along to lessen our baggage.

Like Tucks said, there are a bunch of threads like this w/ tons of responses (mostly in favor of bringing them with you).

I packed some of my OOT bag stuff down in a small suitcase and purchased other items in PV. Remember to bring photocopies of the receipts, just in case.

Yeah I dragged everything with me.. family helped us out by taking extra bags.. I think I was over 300 lbs however it was spread out over several people and as much of a pain in the butt it is to travel that heavy... so worth it...
