Hello everyone -

 

I recently got married in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, in November 2009, and wanted to share my experience and knowledge with people here.

 

First off, I would definitely recommend a destination wedding because it the the ultimate wedding/honeymoon experience, and you get to share it with your friends and family (although I would recommend staying at your destination a week longer by yourselves so you get some true time alone).

 

I started a wedding website / blog about our destination wedding experience, plus since I'm a guy I wanted to give a groom's perspective on the wedding planning thing, so hopefully that can be of use to people in the forum, too.
