reception favor idea??

We are having a private reception from 6p-9p. I am wondering if we should have little favor bags with some pre-packaged nuts/mints or something. I don't think any munchies are available with the reception package (but I will ask). I'm sure everyone will be stuffed after dinner and drinking but just wondering if a few snacks might be good. I was thinking maybe those little drawstring jute bags or something.

 

Is this overkill? (like anyone is going to starve at an AI lol) Thoughts?

I think it's a nice gesture...everyone likes little edible favours. If it was me I would wait until close to my wedding date, see how my budget looks and if there is some room to do this then go for it. If it would be pushing the budget however, it would be something you could skip. No one is going to starve at an AI...but the gesture is sweet.

People will never be sad if you give them more food! I'd steer clear of anything that could melt though!

I think it would be a nice little treat if they would like it, yes they may be stuffed but hey some might not and something to nibble o would be nice. So I dont think it would be over kill a all.

I am thinking about doing the personalized M&Ms in some sort of container. I wanted a favor that people would enjoy and actually use. And how can you NOT enjoy M&Ms?

 

I figure if they are too full after dinner they always have the next day.

Agreed. Yummy treats are never a bad idea One of my friends did M&Ms with their names as favors. I felt bad for eating them but I did haha. Can't let them get stale!
