Need your feedback on my DIY Monogram

Hello BDW Family!

 

I'm still trying to perfect our monogram..but wanted to get some feedback. I trust you all will guide me in the right direction.

#1 - What do you think of the colors...and overall.

 

#2 - I'm going to take out the shadow because it looks a little busy. But with that change overall is it too much going on?

They are both cute. The first one I like more though!

Very cool job! I like them both...although as a monogram I'd probably go with the first! The colours are super and it's not quite as busy!

Yeah I think they're both really great..I like the first one a little better, less busy. They're really cute!

I like the first one the most, I think the colors pop more since they are a little brighter and it's not quite as busy as the second.

I like the first one the most. I love how the feather is so light and flowy. The colors go very well together. The only thing, the pink at the bottom kinda looks out of place. I only noticed that part much later, as it doesn't seem to be *part* of the monogram.

 

Some suggestions could be:

- A slightly darker pink

- To include the same kind of pink somewhere else in the monogram, maybe in the center of the feather? Or add them to the feathery lines going outwards (sorry, hard to describe that part)

- Instead of writing it all on one line, writing "Punta Cana" over "Dominican Republic"

- Make the Punta Cana & DR words closer to the rest

Thanks for the detail suggestions. I was just talking to my FI and he said the same about the pink in the bottom. He didn't see it at first. I think I may throughout the pink...I was trying so hard to keep it there.
