I'm feeling discouraged :-(.

 

Tonight will complete my 4th week in P90x. I still weigh the same and don't feel like there is any noticeable change in my appearance (although I feel stronger).

Of course FI's body is changing and I'm jealous lol. I have been eating good food and definitely less..

 

When did everyone else start seeing changes?

I want to start with saying that everyone is different and everyone's bodies react differently to working... the same thing doesn't work for everyone. Men always seem to react better to working out and they have noticble changes quickly.

It took me a few weeks to see a change, I also put on weight while doing it due to muscle.

Are you following the diet per P90X AND the calorie counts? I was and things were fine but I'm 3 weeks away from my wedding and wanted to slim more than tone and took out 200 cals from my diet and lost 3lbs in the last 2 weeks.

Don't get discouraged, if you are getting stronger that's definitely something right there!

Lisa - 4 weeks is awesome! Congrats on what you've done thus far! Don't be discouraged...just keep it up and you will see results in no time cheesy.gif If I remember what I read in the booklet correctly, the first phase (Weeks 1-4) is all about getting your body used to the workout and getting through them.

 

I'm in the middle of Week 3 now. I haven't lost any weight but I'm definitely feeling stronger and a bit firmer. I've been increasing my weights and reps this week.

Good morning ladies! Happy hump day :o) I started another round of P90X last night and it felt great. We did a month of Insanity and I was doubting those results, but turns out it was working! I thought I was going to die from not doing P90 for about 4 months, but I totally kept up with my last recorded weights and reps!

 

Lisa ~ Congrats on making it 4 weeks on P90! Are you tracking inches as well as weight? I find that my weight may not change, but inches (and clothes fitting better) is a great way to "see" results. Keep up the hard work!

 

kwaits ~ Check out craigslist for used copies. We got P90 and Insanity from people there and both were still in original packaging. And the price is totally worth it because the results are so good. Hope you can find something that works for you!

I found a friend that has a copy that she never uses, so she is going to let me borrow it. Can't wait to start. I think I'll take my before picture this weekend using the bikini I plan to wear to the wedding and then start the workout on monday. I have a little under 4 months until the wedding so hopefully it will work out perfectly....as long as I stick with it :-)
