traditionally it was the brides parents who hosted the wedding so the invitation would say Mr. and Mrs.___________ invite you to the marriage of their daughter ____________ to _______________ son of Mr. and Mrs.____________, so the brides name has continued to come first although the wording has changed over the years.

im looking into ordering from them, but im not too sure about doing the iron on myself!

One of my aunts told me years ago that the bride's name goes first, at least when you're using the last name, because you shouldn't separate a man's first and last names. So, all of our STDs and invitations were addressed to couples with the wife's name first. Just to be consistent, everything with our names has my name first as well.
