Boutenniere for groomsmen?

Hi ladies!! For our ceremony FI is wearing a tanish suit with a white collar shirt and a white rose boutenneire. He has asked his groomsmen, there are only 2, to wear khaki pants and a white button down shirt.

 

Should I have the groomsmen wear boutennieres? I am thinking it might look kind of silly to have a flower just pinned onto a white shirt instead of a suit jacket.

 

Any thoughts??

If the shirt has a pocket you may be able to do a pocket insert if your still interested in a bit of color. Ive seen people pin bout's to the pocket of the shirts though so if you like that look i dont think it wouldn't look good

A friend of mine had a destination wedding and the groom and his groomsmen were dressed in khakis and a white button down....they had boutonniere's and I don't think they looked out of place at all! We're planning on the same sort of attire, and planning on boutonniere's!

My FI and groomsmen will all be wearing ivory shirts and linen pants.  Our colors are fuchsia and orange and my bridesmaids will be wearing fuchsia dresses.  What do you think I should do with the  boutonnieres to make the groom stand out?

I don't think it looks silly at all, it will distinguish them, especially in pics as memebers of the bridal party and not just guests of the wedding
