I got married over president weekend as well. It was a BUSY travel weekend being that Valentine's Day fell on the same weekend. Other wise I think it is great being that there is an extra vacation day built in. Good luck with your planning

Vdaybride, I would love any additional tips for getting married that weekend. Do you think it was a little TOO crowded, aka you didn't get as much attention from the wedding coordinator and/or resort employees as you would have like bc of the crowds?

 

Another question to all Secrets Maroma brides - I just got my estimate from Cecilia based on the ultimate package and 100 guests. That said, "100" was totally a ballpark guess considering the wedding is almost a year away (may be much more, may be much less), so I'm hesitant to sign this contract and fax back to Cecilia quoted on that number.

 

Are any of you familiar with how this works? How do they handle the cost if you have a different number than you expected? Obviously, I'm more concerned if less than 100 show up
