It'll so be worth it in the end! It's sooo pretty there! Don't stress -- it'll all come together soon enough! Haha -- this coming from the person that's been CRAZY wedding shopping in India the past two weeks trying to get everything picked and bought before I head back home on Monday!!! Ahhhhhh!!!

I'd like to do another site visit now, haha! :)

I am so beyond exhausted and stressed, I think I'll have a meltdown if we don't go somewhere! Hubs can really use it, too. These 18 hour days are really starting to drain him. :(

On the chance that we do get to go, I'm going to fill out the form and send it in asap!

Ahh! lol I know what you mean. You're lucky that you actually got to go to India, though! I'm having to pick through my dad in Vietnam! So he's having to send me pictures while I give my "yay" or "nay" thousands of miles away. I'm finding that combining a destination wedding, along with my cultural roots, and then my fiance's culture is a lot to figure out, but so much fun! I'm Vietnamese, he's Jewish. How is it for you?

We're both Indian, but he's from North and I'm from South... and Indian weddings are a production in themselves, so throwing in the destination factor is making it a bit more challenging! We have 7 events to plan...

And I was just informed that Cristina was assigned as our WC!! However, I haven't heard from her yet...I'm hoping to just give her a quick overview of what's going on, and then start chipping away with her and Zuniga to get everything planned out one event at a time! Holy moly, there's a lot to do! Haha!

Are any of you ladies staying seperate from your fiance the few days before your wedding and then getting a joint room on your wedding night? We are, and it seems like the only option (without having to pay single occupancy rates) is to bunk up with 1 other person each, and then swap on the wedding day... but that means we'd swap into Superior Deluxe rooms (i.e. the cheapest because that's where we're staying up until the wedding night)...

The added complexity comes because we're getting a 1-BR suite as our "honeymoon" suite starting the wedding night -- so we'd both have to check in to this new room on the wedding day itself -- which isn't going to happen, because that's the LAST thing I want to worry about that day!  Do you think the WC can help us with this?

Any one else trying to figure this out? Or has anyone come up with a solution?!

Does anyone know what kinds of tables (shapes/sizes), chairs (types/colors), linens, china, etc. MP has available? I know the basic white stuff is included in the "free private events" but I'm wondering if they have other stuff and how much that costs; does anyone know?

Zuniga has chairs and linens, etc, but they seem ridiculously expensive...

I actually emailed my onsite WC yesterday asking this very question. Hopefully she will respond by Tuesday or Wednesday. I will post her answer when I get it.

Yup, your point of contact with any questions is your Miami contact until your Wedding Coordinator contacts you 3 months out. ;o)

Another MP bride sent me this information, it isn't (2010) current but it gives you a good idea on extras. What's your email?

Cheers,

Nicole
