Alison, Thanks for posting the price of a cab ride. Some of us were considering heading to a club but weren't sure how much it would be to go. Do you know if there is a shuttle schedule to other resorts?

There is a shuttle to the other resorts that leaves in the morning and comes back in the afternoon.  It's not the most conveinent times and only runs once a day.  I never used it so I don't know the times it runs.

this is actually VERY different from what I've heard. I've heard nothing but great things about the salon and that they do your hair EXACTLY like the pictures...?! just per others' report

I just asked my WC about the wedding script and how much you could change things.  She told me that there is a new justice of the peace and the doesn't like the wedding service changed much.  She said you can add your own vows and do a family reading (I don't have one I don't think) but that's about it.  I had always been told you could change quite a bit so I was surprised you couldn't do much.  Here is the script she sent me

Kyndall, we got that ceremony script too. From reading it, FI thinks we have to come up with our own vows to say to each other as we exchange rings. What do you think?

 

We wanted to add a sand ceremony and will just have one of our guests read it.

Having a symbolic complementary vow renewal at MP for my 20th anniv on 7-13-11.

With the symbolic complementary package what is included as far as photography, receptions, dinners..

We will probably end up with 15 guests staying 7 days...

I do not like the ceremony script. I want to hire a minister to perform most of the ceremony. I will ask that the justice of peace just do what is needed to make it legal. I dont understand this new policy of not allowing changes to the ceremony script. This is our wedding, why should there only be words spoken that do not move us or have meaning for us? And I definitely can not get married without any mention of God!!! I am waiting for a reply to my question of hiring an outside minister and limiting the function of the justice of peace to just the legal stuff. Hopefully they will be okay with that.

That's funny, I had asked for the script (I am doing a symbolic ceremony) and it was very religious.  We were permitted to alter it (and I changed most of it) and sent it back to the coordinator who said she would send it on to the minister.  Perhaps there is a difference between a civil vs symbolic ceremony?
