Marvin actually told me that he's done tons of weddings at MP and has set up centerpieces there... I just didn't know if anyone here has used him for that before...

This is great to know because I was only going to use Marvin for my bouquets.  Zuniga was giving me better prices and better options then MP for the centerpieces but it sounds like I can get a better deal from Marvin.  I'm going to send him some of the samples that I sent to Zuniga and see what kind of prices he comes up with.

Yep, I'm finding that Zuniga has more than MP, but they are quite expensive... depends on what you want. If you're looking for more floral things, definintely contact Marvin!

I'd ask him specifically how it works when he does centerpieces, etc. Whenever I've asked, I've gotten a vague "I've done tons of weddings there and they know me well..." -- not sure what that means. Ha!

Terpgurl - actually, I never ended up ordering anything from Marvin. I used real touch bouquets so my girls could bring them home after wards. I just asked our WC to put a vase in the center of each table. Each one provided by MP had gel beads in our wedding colors and when we got the we just put the bouquets in. It didn't cost us anything extra. I just really didn't feel like spending more money, especially since the wind could knock stuff over.

Did MP charge you to put vases on the table?  How did that work out cause thats what I was thinking about doing?

At our meeting on the first day, I asked our WC if they would pick up the centerpieces from our room on the wedding day. No problems and no questions about what they were or where they were coming from. In the end, I scrapped the idea because we had no time, so I just asked her to put vases on the table and we put our bouquets in them at dinner.
