We had Valeria too.  She wasn't our original but she had everything organized when we got there and everything went smoothly.

That're great to hear!  She's my coordinator as well and she usually takes about a week to respond.  She usually responds on Tuesdays or Wednesdays and I figured that's because she's busy doing weddings on the weekend.  But so far she has been helpful with answering my questions.

Valeria is awesome.  Communication beforehand is slow but once you get there and see how hard they are working for your events it makes sense because they were busy with other brides! Everything ran so smoothly and mostly due to her.  Every little thing you may not think of, she will.

I just received the video from our wedding yesterday.  The quality isn't really all that great, but I would totally do it again anyway.  It's so nice to have b/c there are so many things I already forgot about that were on the video.  I was able to use my resort credit for it as well, so basically it was free.  If I was paying for it, I'd probably just get the ceremony and not the extra hours.

We also used the vacation dollars for the video.  It isn't amazing but it's kind of nice because we can actually here what was being said.  I couldn't understand a word in the wedding because of the acoustics in the chapel.  It's also nice to see the guest and what was going on while we were taking pictures and what not.

I'm so glad that a lot of us were able to use vacation dollars for the video. I would have been so mad if we paid $500 for that video. It was good and we'll watch it again, but way overpriced. Our videographer took off pretty quick, it would have been nice to have some video of the cocktail hour. We also should have had our first dance then to get it included in the pro video.

I am getting married at the Moon Palace 2 weeks from yesterday!!  Cristina is my wedding coordinator and I was just curious if anyone else had her?  I was looking at past posts, but didn't see anyone mention her name.  Also, we are using a photog at the resort (Lupita).  Has anyone had her? and what did you think of her work?  I noticed people talking about outside vendors, has anyone used the resort for flowers?  I didn't want to deal with getting outside vendors so I was curious as to why so many people use them. Thanks in advance for any help!!

To be honest most of us used outside vendors because at the time they offered a better price and quality. The flowers provided by MP are absolutely beautiful but I got the same amount and quality for half the price using an outside vendor. As far as photography goes, at the time that I booked their photography options were pricey and the work was average at best. Many of the pictures I saw looked like anyone could have taken it with a regular digital camera. I went with an outside vendor, La Luna, because of their artistic style and exceptional quality!

 

Since then I think MP has hired a new photo company. The more recent work that I have seen looks really good. Try not to worry,everything will be perfect; they are true professionals at MP.
