Cancun/Beach Palace

Do any of the brides that already got married at the Palace resorts have anything to say on the fireworks show? I can't decide whether to go with a collection wedding or the complimentary and add on?

I'd love to hear more about the site visit to the Cancun Palace as well. I think I'd prefer Cancun to Moon because of the beach, but it is so hard to pick because of the lack of pics/reviews I've been able to find on Cancun.

I too am getting married at the cancun palace and haven't found much info. Does anyone know how the centerpieces and decorations for the reception are?

I have the same issue with finding brides getting married at Sun Palace. What I've seen and heard is that the same vendors, officiants, and photographers are used at all the palace resorts. I've been following the Moon Palace threads, but it would be nice to see more pictures from the other Palace resorts. I was also considering Beach Palace because the Sky bar is fantastic. We settled on Sun Palace because its adults only. I can't wait to see some reviews from Beach and Cancun Palace.

Hi Everyone

I am going to the Cancun Palace July 28 for 6 days and am going to meet with the wedding coordinator and go over things. Please let me know if you want me to get any specific questions answered while I'm there and I'll share all my info when I return. My wedding isn't until July 2011 so I wonder what they're going to show me.

I just finalized my date for Cancun Palace yesterday. Feb 3, 2011. Not much time, but I'm ready and that time works for the people I really want to be there.

 

So, since you're going for a visit next week and I'm all of a sudden doing this 7 months from now, I'd love if you could ask a couple questions for me.

 

I really am curious about the fireworks. What kind are they? The one picture I was able to find that had some in the background made them look like white fountains, but I was wondering if there are more? How long do they last?

 

I'm also curious about the beach erosion that I've heard about and where the ceremony location is from there? Also, how public is the ceremony location since it is on a public beach?

 

This last question is about the resort or places around the resort. Is there a club or dance bar at the resort? Or, something close by the resort that you noticed that might be fun to goto the evening of the ceremony?

 

I'd also love to hear your thoughts on dinner/reception locations.

Does anyone know about the different ceremony locations other than the beach at Cancun Palace? Also, does anyone know if the Sky Terrace at the Beach Palace gets windy? If anyone has any photos of the Cancun Palace or the Beach Palace that would be great!

I have a bunch of pictures and a brochure of locations for events at the Cancun Palace.  I can't upload all the pics up here, but if you want to private message me your email, I can share my pictures.

 

I'm sure the Sky Terrace gets windy, but probably not until 7/8.  We were up there at 6pm and it was not windy.
