Alot of our guests get there Wednesday around noon. We get there Wednesday night around 9pm. Urgh! You sound like me with my veil....one minute I want one....next minute I don't. I am so undecided.

Chile!!! I still have no clue about a veil either...smh.

I got a question. What time are your girls ceremonies at? Mine is currently set for 3pm, because I wanted to have time for pictures before the sun goes down (around 5pm). I'm just concerned about what my guests will do between then an cocktail hour around 5. Do you think I should make my ceremony at 4 instead? Hmmm...what do you girls think?

Having the 2hrs btw isnt too bad. By the time the ceremony is over and you have a few pictures its will be 5!

Mine is set for 1pm and our dinner is at 6....that sux! Apparently there is another wedding at 430, so they said that I had to have an earlier ceremony...

And I'm not worried about being super busy from 3 till cocktail hour or reception, I know pictures take forever. I feel bad that my guests might just be sitting there with nothing to do for a few hours. I'm sure you know how I feel since your wedding is at 1. Just don't know what to do with all the guests. Have them sit at a bar and drink? Or let them do whatever they want and come back for dinner? Seems like the wedding just gets broken up and the feeling might not be the same like if it was a continuous event (???), am I crazy, worrying over nothing?

My ceremony is from 2:30-3:30. The cocktail hour will start at 5 and reception at 6.

We're getting married in a church so we figure that guests will get back to the hotel around 4/4:15 and may want to freshen up before cocktail hour. I think it's not a big deal to have a small gap between your ceremony and cocktail hour. Your guests will be in a beautiful location so an hour or 2 won't make them upset.
