We bought a separate jewelry policy through Allstate, who also carries our car and homeowners insurance.

We added valuable personal property to our renters insurance. My ring came with the appraisal already but I think the insurance co will give you a list of places they recommend for getting it done.

We used Jewelers Mutual also. It is so reasonable for the year and covers out of state and country. Good luck!

I got a separate policy just for my ring through Chubb. Very reasonable and happy with the coverage.

I got it through my insurance at work! Basically had to sign up for renter's insurance but I got a better rate that way. You may want to check w/ your benefits department

I did mine through Traveller's insurance as part of my homeowner's insurance. Make sure that you get an additional rider for the ring. The basic policy will not begin to cover the cost of your ring.

I've had jewelry insured thru Jewelers Mutual in the past. Its more expensive but they make you have your ring inspected every year or two which is good because the jewelry store can catch any loose stones and fix it. I changed to my homeowners policy bc it was much cheaper. Just make sure to get it appraised every few years and ajdust your policy accordingly.

Mine is insured through my renters insurance which is Safeco. Make sure it covers diamond loss and also is covered in other countries or while traveling. For destination weddings that is a must!
