British brides getting married in Jamaica

Hey,

We have booked to get married at Riu Ocho Rios in April 2011. We booked through Thomson and have found them to be excellent. We are currently just waiting to have our wedding date confirmed. I'm starting to get a little panicky about booking our reception (we are hoping for a beach or pool private reception) but I don't have any contact details for the wedding planner at ROR and without a confirmed date I can't really book anything anyway? Have any of you had your dates confirmed? Have you been in contact with the wedding co-ordinater at your venues?
