Hello Ladies:

 

I am new to the site and getting married at Casa de Campo in June, 2011. I received info from the WC last week.  I am planning a different type of event.  I'm getting a villa large enough for my guests and plannning the ceremony at the villa.  If you choose this you will need to ask the owner's permission.  I have heard that some brides get married at Altos de Chavon then have their reception at one of the villas.  I'm doing the opposite though.  Ceremony at the villa and wedding photos at Altos de Chavon.  My reception will be low key and probably just celebrated at one of the restaurants on the resort.  PM me at I will send all the ceremony and reception info I received from the WC including prices.

Hello ladies:

I am knee deep in planning our wedding on April 29, 2011 at Casa de Campo.  We are planning to host the ceremony and reception at Altos de Chavon.  Any advice is much appreciated.  The hotel can be pricey but grouping guests into villas comes out to be more reasonable.

Hey Ladies,

My Fiance and I are getting married at Casa De Campo in 2 weeks. We are finally at the stage where the WC wants us to western union her 1000 dollars for court costs. I do believe that this is a reality and not a scam, however I find it odd that we need to western union it to her, personally.

Did anyone else have this issue? Any advice?
