Any one work with Pastor Rick York??

Recommended Posts

Forgive me if I missed this question in all the pages in this thread, but has anyone had the opportunity to work with Pastor Rick's associate, Mark Lykins? If so, what were your thoughts?

We are looking at the civil ceremony. But would love to have something in English and possibly with more intimate feel, like the idea of a sans ceremony. We are both Roman Catholic but aren't very religious and I am divorced so the religious wont work. Is pastor Ricks service a legal ceremony? Or would we have to have a judge and him following to have both?

We just booked his services for a symbolic ceremony next August. He does do the sand ceremony, as that's what we are doing. We aren't super religious but wanted a Pastor to preside over the ceremony to make it feel a little bit more traditional. His ceremonies can be done in English. Hope this helps!

He is AMAZING!!!We are also Roman Catholic but didn't want to get married in the Church. We still wanted a religious ceremony even though we did our legal part before we left Canada. It was the best decision having him. My guests loved him as well. I didn't want do it legally in Punta Cana because it is done by the judge and it's in Spanish then translated.

Hey lady! I saw your wedding date is Aug 30,2014. I am a day before you on Aug 29! I just emailed Pastor York to ask if he can do the service for us.. I really hope to hear back from him soon! Thank you for sharing his email btw!

Yay!!! Congrats flyingchild!!! He's really quick to respond to you, along with sending you samples of his ceremonies. He assigned Pastor Mark Lykins to me, and so far I've read nothing but wonderful things about him. When are you flying in and leaving the DR? We'll be there from that Wednesday and flying out the following Wednesday.

I got a reply from him his morning! :D He also told me that he won't be in DR that month and assigning Pastor Mark to us. I am glad to hear you say that Pastor Mark is good! I had my heart set on Pastor York right from the beginning so I didn't even look for other pastors.

We are thinking to fly in Tuesday that week and leave the following Tuesday. Yayyy for labor day weekend brides!! :cheer2:
