Thanks for writing this! I dropped a bit and now I'm stuck and ready to give up! You just reminded me that consistency pays off in the end! I'm at 158 now... I'm determined to get into the 140's!

LOL I'm happy that I'm finally seeing results and I'm looking forward to losing 12 lbs more. 

 

With that said... DON'T GIVE UP LADIES!! You will get there! Slow and steady weight loss is not only the healthier way but you will maintain for the long run :)

This will seem like an extremely obvious piece of advice but I find myself not realizing it at times. Although I buy fruit & veggies every time I go to the store, I don't always eat them. What has helped change my ways is actually taking cherries, carrots, celery, etc out of their bags, cutting them up and putting them in a fun dish that is really visible in the fridge. It's surprising how much a difference this makes when the "effort" that has to go into actually cutting celery/carrots, etc. is already done for you. When things are presented nicely, it's also a bigger draw to want to snack on them. I find that in my household that consists of my husband, me and our 2 mini dachshunds, everyone eats more fruit & veggies when it's in more of a "party presentation" :) Hope that (kind of obvious, but easily forgotten) tip helps!

I found myself in the same situation such as yourself and was disappointed in myself. But you have to stick to it and DON'T GIVE UP! All of that hard work already put in.... you can't just throw in the towel. Stick to it and you will get there. I will also say that I constantly remind myself not to binge whenever I see ice cream (my FAV) or any unhealthy items that may be in front me. After a hardcore workout and sweating it out.... I'm not going to sabotage that for ice cream etc.... because then i'm just going backwards instead of forward and have to work much harder to burn off those empty calories. I would prefer to indulge on my 1 cheat meal on the weekend, which is so worth the wait :)

I agree. That is why I cut up my fruit and veggies and put them in individual containers which makes it much easier to just grab and go.

For 2 weeks, I have to cut the following....

-cow dairy (only goats milk allowed, soy-no sugar added)

-All grains/potatoes including sweet potatoes

-caffeine

-alcohol

Basically, I am only allowed to have fruits/veggies/protein sources are almond butter or other nuts - just no peanuts/fish/chicken/turkey - can't have oranges/tangerines/melon

With this, I am taking certain suppliments

-Probiotic-for estrogen balance

-Fishoils-weight loss, skin moisture, hormonal balance and cravings

-A hormonal blend of suppliments-Liver support, hormone balance

-A Digestive blend of suppliments-Blood sugar balance, metabolism, healthy body composition

-Magenesium/Calcium - to calm nervous system, for energy and craving control as well as to help with sleep

-Relora

*(I didn't know what it was until seeing the Naturopathic Dr....here is a bio on it.

Relora is an exciting new natural anti-anxiety/stress relief ingredient to control stress-related eating and drinking that has the added value of being non-sedating with potential anti-depressant properties. In central nervous system receptor binding assays, the plant extracts in Relora bind to several important targets associated with anxiety. It does not bind to the benzodiazepine receptors that would cause sedation, yet has the relaxing qualities of the benzodiazepine class of drugs in a validated anxiolytic animal model. -Sugar (obvious)

-Alcohol

-Your white breads/rices etc.

 

 

I started on Monday and am feeling good.  I have more energy already.  I will keep you posted on how it goes!
