Hi LisaandJeff!

 

So I pretty much live by this diet.  Its more of a lifestyle change but I have no problem keeping up with it.  Here is the link to the website:

I just bought the book and followed it.  Pretty much you eat Six times a day.  Breakfast snack lunch snack dinner snack. You even get one cheat day a week!  The first month i did not even do any of the exercises.  It just worked wonders for me! Here is the link to the book to buy on Amazon.com:

Hi Ladies!!  I've been out of the country for the last week so I am catching up on all the threads.  Great job to those who have posted their success.

 

So I had planned on getting Insanity once it got closer to the wedding but with so many ppl talking about it I figured I'd go look online.  Just ended up buying it off eBay about 5 minutes ago.  Very excited to get it and try it out.  I figured why wait until the wedding - I have my 30th coming up at the end of May and a trip to Miami in June and Hawaii in August so why wait LOL!!  Looking forward to trying these out.  I already have P90X and love it but I think I'll love Insanity more since its mainly plyo/interval/cardio workouts

 

My feet have recovered pretty well from surgery so most of my training is back to normal.  Can't wait to start these!!

I just started insanity a few days ago! I am totally loving it so far. A couple weeks leading up to it, I was doing some Jillian Michael vids which were ok but then I tried one of the Insanity videos and I absolutely loved it! I feel like I'm getting so much more of a workout done...by the end I am literally dripping with sweat which I NEVER do. I'm so excited to start seeing results. Already I am feeling stronger! I love being able to do something at home. It is SUCH an extra effort to decide to workout THEN get all the way up to the gym. It has definitely been my motivation!! I have just enough time to finish the program before my wedding!

Good to hear.  I can't wait to get them in the mail.  Good Luck with your workouts.  Must be so exciting being so close to your wedding.  I have over 7 months to go.

7 months will FLY by. It really isn't even real to me that I only have like 2 months!!! It's absolutely insane. I feel like I have a lot to do! Once you hit 6 months, it will go so fast that suddenly you'll be 2 months! Please let me know how it goes for you when you start Insanity!

gosh how are you doing it? another 5lbs thats so reasonable! Im till a good 15, shoot i would be happy with 10...bc you know if you are going to an All Inclusive your going to gain some back. We are getting there Tuesday before the Saturday wedding and i feel like its going to be soooooooooooo hard!!! you dont want to not eat those days and miss you.

 

Its so hard to counter my 8 hour desk job, i work out 3-5 times a week depending on the week (cardio/gym/lift) im trying to control what i put in my mouth...lol and portion control but dang its rough!!

I'm working out at least 3 days a week doing the 30 day shread..also not eating many carbs..a protien shake for breakfast and mostly fish, chicken and veggies the rest of the time

I bought the "Abs Diet For Women" book a couple years ago and followed it for a while (before starting to slack off later...) and thought it was great!

Well ladies, it's "D Day" (Destination Day...lol) for me tomorrow and the wedding is Tuesday!! Can't wait!!! This thread has been great - very helpful and inspirational. We're all going to look so hot for our weddings!!! cheesy.gif I just thought I'd share ('cause I can almost hardly believe it!) that in 3 months, I have lost 10 lbs of fat (and I didn't even want to lose weight initially, just tone and get rid of some flabby bits), am down to a size 4 from size 8 (I didn't think an 8 was at all bad to begin with...like I said, I just wanted to tone!), am visibly leaner and more toned (even more muscular in some areas like my back and arms). I have never been this fit in my life and never thought I would be...I was always kind of a chubby kid when I was younger and I haven't been this size since I was 11 years old. I found an amazing personal trainer that got me into weight lifting, which I now LOVE. This has been instrumental!!! This along with Clean Eating has made all the difference for me. Anyone interested in info about Clean Eating (seriously it may change your life) should look at any of Tosca Reno's books and she also has a website. This is a total lifestyle change that will not leave you hungry, cutting out any major food groups, and is not at all complicated...very common sense and delicious. Anyhoo, thanks again ladies! This thread is awesome!!!
