You ladies seem pretty motivated.  Keep at it!!

Always remember that 80% of your results will come from what u put in your mouth.  When you are considering eating something think to yourself "Is this getting me closer to my goal or is it taking me further from it".  Eat food that is healthy and will fuel ur body.  Treat ur body well by feeding it well.  Don't put to much value in food - just eat to live instead of living to eat.

Great advice! I think a lot of people think if they excercise a lot they'll lose the weight, but if you don't eat right along with the exercise it will never happen. I've had to switch my diet up a bit recently, i'm a vegetarian and a picky eater so I have to make sure I eat enough lean protein, not just carbs and salad! I was reading on vegetarian sources of lean protein and I found the source with one of the highest percentages is chickpeas! They're really yummy, I made hummus with them the other night and it was aaaamazing. A very healthy and tasty alternative to any kind of dip or sandwich spread.

I also read back a few pages and i'm glad you were trying to convince everyone to not just do cardio but weight train and lift heavier weights. People always try to tell me i'm going to get all huge and manly from lifting heavy weights and doing low reps and it's so not true. I did the low weight 15-20 reps thing for many many months and it kept me in decent shape but when i switched to heavy weights I could almost immediately see changes in my body's definition. So so glad I found the light and switched to heavier weight.

How do you like Insanity? Have you finished the whole 60 days before? I just finished P90x and saw the Insanity videos and am thinking this is what I will do next!! They look crazy intense!

I alternate my workouts between Insanity, jillian michaels and jackie warner. It's a great way to keep the body working and burning calories. I have read and agree that if you stick to the same routine, your body will hit a plateau and you will no longer see results. Switch it up between workouts.

I haven't done the whole 60 days because I've been alternating from Insanity to jackie Warner every other day, just so I don't get discouraged from doing Insanity. Insanity is very intense and I feel that not doing it everyday helps me to not give up. However, lately I've done it 2-3 days back to back and it doesn't seem so bad. I get through it and feel great when I'm done. At the end of the workout, your clothes are drenched!! LOL

Awesome, I cant wait to start it! Thanks! I have never heard of Jackie Warner but I know what you mean about getting discouraged. As long as you are doing something right! I am sure the more you do it the easier it gets too but 6 days a week of that! Whoa, how could you not get into shape.

Funny...I am a vegetarian too and am very picky as well.  Good advice on the chickpeas.  I should eat them more often.

So glad you found the light too!!  Lifting heavy feels so good and it really helps sculpt the body.  I really don't know why most women think that way.  It's not like there are tons of women bodybuilders walking around.  It is very difficult to get huge, bulky, buff, ripped and whatever term there is.  A lot of drugs are needed to get to that level for a woman.  I spent 6 months dieting and training for a figure competition and even though I gained muscle and was a lot stronger I was tiny when I stepped on stage....and that was 6 months of hard core training twice a day.
