Thank you so much. I am delighted with my photos. They all came out great. I want them all!! LOL If you can't do it now, it'll definitely make for a great 1st anniversary gift. It'll also be an incentive into keeping up with the hard work of staying in shape :)

Thanks! I LOVE this outfit. I thought it was super cute. I did my own hair but make-up I paid Jen's make-up artist to do. I felt like a drag queen with all of the make-up on because I'm a mascara and lipgloss kind of girl. But I know that with pictures, lighting and flash makes it appear much lighter. I'm sure he will. I can't wait to surprise him with the photo book. I'm still in the process of picking out more photos. Once I do, I'll share a few more with you ladies. MichCraw, are you doing/done a Boudoir shoot?

Yes I am ... tomorrow ( Wed. the 14th)!!! Eekkkk super nervous... I'm not sure it'll quite be like your shoot... the photographer calls is a " glamour shoot" .. and not a boudoir shoot.. don't know if there is a difference.. i'll let you girls know!

Don't worry! It's go great. Just have fun with it and bring your own IPOD, if you have one. If not, ask the photographer to play some of your favorited music. It'll help relax you and keep your mind occupied. I think it's the same thing. Let us know how it goes and defintiely share a few teasers with us when you get them. One thing to remember.....think sexy thoughts during your shoot, it'll help you look sexy in the photos without looking like you're trying.

Had my " boudoir" sessions yesterday, turned out to be a BLAST!!!! The photographer I chose is more of a "pin-up girl" kinda person.. but I told her that I just wanted to be a bit more natural, and she did a great job with the hair & makeup. I got to pick out 3 outfits and I had a brought one of my own ...she put on some music... gave me some direction and I have to say the pictures came out pretty darn good. All I have to say is " hello waist" in those tight corset type things.. Whoa... it seems like you have a teeny tiny waist.. it sure did pay off to lose those extra pounds! I don't have any pictures with me ( hiding them from you know who ... so I left the USB key at my friends) When I can i'll come post one of the pics!

Congrats!!  Glad you had such a good time and you are happy with the photos.

I just started looking for photographers in my area.  Planning on doing it near the end of Oct or first week in Nov.  I should be done with my 2nd month of Insanity so I think its a perfect time to strut my stuff!!  :)

  • 2 weeks later...

Hey girls! I'm looking for some advice on breaking through a plateau!

I eat about 1500 calories/ day and work out 3 hours of cardio and 2 hours of wieght training/ week. I do have the ocassional slip up with eating and drinking on the weekend but for the most part think I'm pretty consistent. I've lost about 15 pounds and now the scale is at a stand still!

Help!!!

Just my $.02....1500 cals doesn't seem like very much and sounds more like a very generic number.  Your daily caloric requirements are a special formulated number for you and you alone.  You need to figure out your BMR (http://www.bmi-calculator.net/bmr-calculator/) so you know how many cals you burn just staying alive.  Then use another calculator (Harris Benedict Equation) to figure out how many calories you burn in a day.  Then you can figure out how many you should be eating to lose, maintain or gain.

Way too many woman just try to pick a random number and stay around it (like 1500) when that could be doing you more harm then good.  A little effort is needed to figure out your specific formula but after that you know what you need to eat each and every day which makes it easy.  As you lose weight you can re-run the numbers and adjust them if necessary.

Hope this helps you or any other woman out there.
