What do/did you think of Tiger Wood's Apology?

I'm not sure Tiger knows the meaning of "honest".

The man never should have gotten married...He has no idea what commitment means.

I think this apology was all about his image and wanting people to watch him play golf and use his sponsor products.

I feel bad for his wife and his children, but he just makes me sick.

He was a cheater before, after, during and probably still cheating, but really its between him and Elin. Men don't just get married and start cheating. He doesn't owe anyone, but his wife and God an apology.

I didn't watch it only cause to me it's all BS!! the only reason he apologized was because he got caught! his people are thinking it's a good idea only so he can play without a bunch of backlash and so he can get his endorsements back. Don't get me wrong i'm not saying that people are perfect and no one cheats....but had he cheated once maybe even 3 times..i'd might let him off the hook...but he was cheating with multiple women..MULTIPLE womEn!!! no way he honestly feels bad that he was doing this...he only feels bad he got caught.

 

i'm sure Erin is gonna stick around and Tiger will go to therapy...but I believe she's staying for the money.

My sentiments exactly! He doesn't owe his fans an apology, that's ridiculous imo...his wife is the only person who deserves one and it's none of our business.

I can't believe this has been so hyped up and that it warranted a press conference! I mean people get murdered and there aren't press conferences, this guy cheated on his wife and it's breaking news? I guess it's because he had a clean image before and this is so far from that.

But seriously who cares? At the end of the day he is a guy who cheated on his wife like so many other guys who cheat on their wives.

I feel bad for her that this really private matter has been sensationalized because it has got to be pretty humiliating.

The apology seemed sincere and he praised his wife Elin for handling the situation with poise and grace. However, it is probably a publicity move to salvage his image.

 

Elin's absence sent a strong message.

i by no means condone what he did, but i really could care less.

 

i work at a tv station and i don't understand why we had to break into regular programming to air this. like there aren't more important things going on in the world?!!

No, I agree with you. I think it's all about PR. I just think it's interesting that he waited until his name had already (mostly) faded from the news/magazines to hold this press conference.
