good luck. good suggestions already made by brides above. many AI have wedding coordinators that could help you out but you got to pick the place first. soooo many places....so many options. check out the reviews and trip advisor.

I agree with the TA info. I don't know about other TAs, but I don't have to pay mine as she gets paid by the resorts. She's also helpful with the wedding coordination... she's already told me that she will "light some fires" if need be...lol!

Find a DW Coordinator / TA sometimes all in the same - they will lend you appropriately.

After finding a couple of locations, check under the destination section of this site for ideas/reviews from future/past brides that used that resort.

As other posters have mentioned, a TA can be a big help in picking a place. I personally found deciding on our location to be the hardest part so far... and it's such a relief once you have that figured out. You've definitely come to the right place for all the info you need, and then some!

1. Make two lists: "need to haves" and "nice to haves"

2. Prioritize your lists

3. Discuss your lists with a Travel Agent and be open to suggestions; they've already done the homework, some have even been to the locales

4. Read the reviews on this site that other brides have written about the venues that you are considering. (BIG HELP!)
