I agree with the ladies just click on the banner they will be the best people you can contact. 

 

Don't go with Destinationwedding.com  I had contacted them when I started the planning and went through 3 different agents before I just gave up on them.  The first two agents I had were just rude and not helpful at all.  They didn't help me at all in picking a location and just kept on giving me adult option or adult resorts when I specific told them that I will have a couple of kids from 8 to 16 at the wedding. No one answered emails just horrible and I'm still waiting for my refund since december (there is a sign up fee and if they don't deliver than the fee is refunable).

Thank you for this review on www.destinationweddings.com. I was almost to the deposit part and I'm glad I did a search first on here to see if there were any reviews for that website.

I have been very pleased with www.destinationweddings.com  They have always been very prompt in returning my emails and were really helpful in choosing a destination for the wedding and setting me up with the resort's webinar to get more information for myself.  I started with them back in December.  They have been very helpful in regards to my guests as well.  Sheila was easy to get ahold of for any questions about room rates and was able to set up payment plans for them as well.  Within the last month, I noticed on the resort's website that the room rates were cheaper than what our contract was for, so I contacted Sheila, and within a week hear an answer in regards to the rates and all of my guests were eligible for a refund of about 15% of what they originally paid.  Our room was not able to be refunded due to other promotions we had going on, but they double upgraded our room!  And the $50 deposit was put towards our wedding as well, so really there was no money lost.  Also, Sheila was extremely helpful with communication with Priscila, the WC from Lomas Travel associated with the resort.  So overall, I have had a great experience with www.destinationweddings.com and would highly recommend them and Sheila to any bride looking for a TA

At the very top of the screen on the right hand side.  Sometimes it changes to other ads but if you are looking, for instance, at the all new posts screen, it is always there for me.  You should be able to find it, good luck.

Also, tsmitty5672 and everyone in general, you all may not know that the entire BDW forum and website is created and owned by Tammy Wright who owns Wright Travel Agency... and for whom we all work! While it is wonderful that you had a good experience with an agent from destinationweddings, they actually are direct competitors, so we would try not to publicize endorsements of agents who are outside those working here with/for the forum.

As for those of us working here, with the bestdestinationwedding.com forum, Tammy selected us because of the personal knowledge we have of the areas we sell. Many of us were married ourselves in destination weddings and we have visited the resorts and areas you are interested in!

Bride2B22 - I highly recommend TA Wendy!  I've been working with her to plan our wedding in Mexico for next April and although we have multiple things going on with our wedding, she's been so willing to help and has been very flexible!  You'll really enjoy working with her if you have the opportunity!
