Newbie thinking about Cabo

Hey guys! My name is Elisha....no wedding date yet cause we're actually not engaged! LOL! We've been together almost 8 years and have been talking about a destination wedding from the get go (we're childhood sweethearts). I have it on pretty good authority that the ring is around the corner so I've been doing some research to narrow down a location and AI resort for the occaision. I was thinking the Riu Palace in Cabo. I really like their wedding packages. I'm usually a high maintenance girl but I'm so emotional that I don't think a big to do would be something I would end up enjoying. Something tasteful and elegant would be better. I like that the Riu does a semi private dinner in one of the restaurants for your guests and they can order off the menu. I find alot of other menus don't have alot to offer for groups with picky eaters - a little too frufru sometimes, plus I'd really like to keep the cost down. The only thing that is swaying my decision at this point is that all you Cabo brides on here are leaning towards Dreams because Riu doesn't allow outside vendors. Glad I stumbled upon this website or I might have booked without knowing! I was planning on bringing a photographer with me but I'm guessing this would be a no go? Anyone have anymore info for me on this subject? Can someone give me a ball park figure on how much their package is going to cost at Dreams and what the reception includes?
