Shoes or no shoes

Recommended Posts

We are getting married on the beach. FI wants to go barefoot and I want to wear shoes. And I actually want him to wear shoes too. Should I give in to this battle or make the boy wear some shoes. lol

What did you all do shoes or no shoes? Did you like your decision?

I had amazing pink shoes that I loved...

and wore them only for dinner. :)

the entire wedding party was barefoot on the beach and during our cocktail hour on the beach. dinner in the restaurant required shoes, and then our dance reception was at the iberostar tucan's beach bar and we ended up dancing in the sand all night rather than on the wood dance floor. it was awesome.

i say go barefoot! the bridesmaids & i had barefoot sandals, and my shoes were able to make a very short appearance during dinner.

I say shoes or at least flip flops :)

I can trust that my groom has nice feet, but I am not so sure about a few of the groomsmen, yikes :)! I will have this pics for the rest of my life :) More or less I would just want everything to look nice for the short ceremony and if you are really set on that maybe compromise and take some of your photos as a couple without shoes :)

We are going to have to wear Flip Flops for our Wedding Ceremony. I am having the Flower girl throw shells, sand dollars and baby starfish before I walk down the aisle :) so some type of foot attire will be needed for my walk to the alter and the walk for everyone back. I hope that is not being sneaky :), no but really I saw someone else do it instead of flower petals and I thought It was a nice touch to a beach wedding. The shells, sand dollars, and starfish will be white and a mixture of different blues died to match our wedding colors :)

Good Luck!

i wore shoes, my husband wore flip flops. It was his wedding day too, so I let him do what he was most comfortable with. And you really don't see either of our feet in the ceremony pictures as they are covered in sand.
