Hello everyone!

 

I am SOOOO happy to have all your advice and welcoming, wonderful ideas from this forum for my wedding planning!

 

My name is Amber and I and my fiance, Stefan, are planning a destination wedding to Akumal-area next February. We are going out of the ordinary a bit by renting a villa and trying to plan the wedding from scratch (well, with a wedding planner but without the support of a larger hotel destination..).

 

We had planned this "vaguely" for some time but now realize we are actually within the one year planning cycle. Yikes! Now I'll be mining all those great suggestions and sharing the research from my own planning.

Welcome to the forum!

Akumal is such a beautiful location in mexico. I absolutely loved it there. And I think it's awesome that you're renting a villa and making it your own!

What do you have planned so far?
