Wedding Officiant

Hi everyone

 

We are looking to get married in either St. Lucia, T&C or Antigua. We are not very religious or spiritual so for us it makes sense to have a friend or family member put something nice together and officiate our cermony.

 

Has anyone heard of anyone doing this before? Is it even allowed?

This may depend on whether you are having a legal ceremony or just a symbolic ceremony. I was at a wedding in Antigua just over a year ago and they had a judge do the ceremony and it was not religious.
