Hi all! Wanted: Cabo wedding - fun, memorable and budget friendly

What a great site! Already found tons of helpful info. Trying to decide on RIU Santa Fe or Melia.

 

Also curious as to how much this rule is followed: bridge/groom pays for wedding party accommodations.

I got married in Cabo and it was absolutely amazing! We did it at dreams, and with the great group rates it was really reasonable. Plus at Dreams no more money besides a tip here and there is needed. So It makes it really budget friendly too!

 

I did not pay for anyones accomodations, but we did buy the wedding party thier clothes to help with costs.

Welcome! You shouldn't need to pay for accommodations.

Erika J, I like your idea, any way to cut costs on bridal party attire since you are buying everyone's? I saw ebay options, but unsure of them.

Hello and welcome to the forum. I am getting married at Dreams in just a few short days . I did not pay for anyones accomodations, but I purchased the accessories for the flower girl (only because her mom insisted that she bought the dress) bridesmaid dresses and groomsmen attire. Congratulations and welcome to the forum! I would definitely stick with an All- Inclusive resort to help cut costs. I would check out the Cabo threads on the main page as well as the wedding reviews (sometimes there will be pics).

I ended up getting a standard J Crew dress that was $100 each. And I used a coupon and orderd the GM shirts from old Navy and they were $10 each. I just shopped around and used coupon codes when i could to save $
