Welcome! I'm a new May '11 bride too..Your TA was right, Cancun is really hectic and there's not a lot of privacy. The beaches are also pretty small.

 

I've been researching for weeks now and still can't decide which resort to go with. Good luck!

Congrats! I am also a Mayan May 2011 bride. Of all the beach vacations I have been on (5 or 6) Mayan was by far my favorite. I also really loved Playa Del Carmen. We chose The Royal after looking at 100s of the reviews of locations on here and trip advisor. Good Luck! I am sure whatever you choose will be great!
