If Stephen would catch me I'd be toast! I've been calling Stephen my FI for more than a year now and it seems that almost every time I get tangled up in a conversation about us I keep calling him FI . Will my brain ever catch up! Lol! Stupid story but had to share!

Don't sweat it. I've been married for a year and a half, and I still make reference to "my boyfriend". Fortunately, DH thinks it's hysterical.

I'm with Becks. I referred to DH as FI for awhile after we were married & he would always say he'd love to meet this other man/FI that I always refer too! So don't sweat it, you'll get used to it eventually.
