Hi,

I'm getting married in the mayan riviera this summer and I would like to know if you have any comments or suggestions about weddings at the Gran Palladium riviera, the NH riviera cancun, or the Gran caribe real cancun.

I've been talking to their people but still have mixed feelings about making my final decision.

Thanks a lot

I am getting married at the Grand Palladium Riviera Maya - there was a girl on here before who said she checked out a bunch of the resorts around there and she said this one is the best of all!!! She chose the Paaladium for her wedding and loved everything about it.

I dont know if that helps Good luck :)

Congratulations!!! I WAS booked at the Gran Caribe Real but when I went to cancun to make the site inspection everything was so different of what they offer me, first they told me that the location for the reception was going to be under construction the day of my wedding!!!
My brother is a profesional photographer and I told them that he was going to take my pictures, they wanted to charge me 450 usd for thant since he is a proffessional photographer and he doesn't work with them!!!
I Hired a wedding planner Andrea Garcia [email protected] she saved me, she took me for site indpections to other hotels on the next day and now I finaly have my venues!! i'm getting married at Amarte Maroma Amarte at Maroma Bay | Mexico Yucatan Peninsula Andrea make a great deal with them and got me a lower rate for me and my guests.
. As soon as I spoke with Andrea almost 1 1/2 yrs. ago I felt she understood my vision for my wedding. All of her vendors are very reputable and work well with each other.

If possible I would highly recommend to set a week a side to meet all of your vendors. If not Andrea can easily obtain the right vendors for your type of wedding. If not I can provide you a list of the vendors I felt had the experience & quality of work we were looking for! There is an excellent book as a guide The Wedding Book: The Big Book for Your Big Day by
Mindy Weiss and Destination Wedding Book. In the wedding book -it provides a list of questions to ask each vendor. The Destination Wedding was also a great reference too.

Good luck!

Cristina,

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your upcoming wedding. I love Riviera Maya and tulum area. I think the closer you get to the Tulum area, the nicer the water / beach is. I only mention this if you were thinking about doing a TTD. But regardless what you choose I' am sure it will be stunning, I heart Mexico. ;-)
