Hi everyone!

I'm looking to get married at either the Beaches Turks and Caicos, Sandals Grande Antigua, or Sandals Royal Caribbean. I am so indecisive and have no clue how to go about deciding. Am I correct in saying that the Sandals resorts do not allow children? That's the only reason why I was looking at Beaches, but at the same time I don't want to be in a resort that is overrun with children. I do like the MS themes, but I don't understand why there are going to be pp charges in an all-inclusive resort. Does anyone have any suggestions or information that may sway me one way or the other? Can anyone share their wedding experiences at the above mentioned resorts? I've been looking through the threads but haven't come across anything specific. Any help would be awesome! TIA

Welcome and Congrats! I can't really help you out as we are getting married at a Dreams resort but yes I'm pretty sure that Sandals resorts do not allow children so that could be a problem, it's definitely hard to find a balance between a kid friendly resort and one that is over-run with children. Good Luck!!

I had the pleasure of staying at beaches Turks and Caicos in 2005. At the time my daughter was a month shy of the 2nd birthday. I LOVED the resort and I would not say that the resort was over run with children. I am actually going back to be married there in October and I can not wait. This time we will have two kids, and I am sure we will have a better time than when we first went. I have been to other Sandals properties and I must say that I like Beaches Turks and Caicos the best!

Welcome AnnMarie!

sandals will allow children the the wedding with manager approval and if you do a private -indoor reception they can stay for that also!

However permission does need to be secured and there are additional costs fo rteh indoor private reception!

Beaches Turks & Caicos is amazing ! I've bben three times in 2009 and each time it just keeps getting better. I found that the Italian vilage is very bust with children so I would recommend to stay in the Caribbean Village- close to the water or the French Village - very quiet back from the water !

The resort has so much for the kids to do though that you don't feel overwhelmed by them at all!

I don't know if you have looked into Jamaica but that is where we are going. We wanted to go to a Sandals and chose the one in Negril for the reason of children. There is a Beaches on the same seven mile beach, actually there are two. We were originally looking at the Sandals in the Bahamas but the Beaches close by is what changed our minds.

Hi AnnMarie! Yes, for children to attend the reception it does have to be indoors- the wedding however can be outside!

Many of my clients do a split stay-they will get married at a Beaches and then honeymoon at Sandals- that way they can have children easily attent the wedding and reception but still have the Sandals adult nly enviroment for their honeymoon! I can easily set this up and you would only have to pay one deposit instead of 2!
