It is possible...don't be discouraged. Step one - find a resort you like and see if your date is available. (IT is a lot of work - but use this forum - it is awesome! It has sooo much good info and can help lead you in the right direction)

if that is the date you want, be persistent in finding a place that can do it for you. You may have to be flexible with the hotel choice but we just booked last month for our wedding in Nov.. You will find a tonne of valuable info on this site..all the girls are sooo kind, forthcoming with info and sympathetic. Good luck.

I would say, be open to destinations though. If you are, I don't see why 10-10-10 wouldn't happen.

So I have chosen Grand Riviera Princess in Riviera Maya, Mexico. Picked a packange and travel date.....only to find out that they don't do weddings on SUNDAYS!!!!!

 

Wouldn't you think my wedding TA would have known that?

It's definitely do-able, you need a good travel agent on your side and the rest will fall into place!

I am getting married on 10-10-10 in Canada and then having a symbolic wedding on Oct 19th, 2010. You could always do that if you can't find a resort abroad.

It is possible but you will have to find someone that does weddings on Sunday since the 10th of October falls on a Sunday. You have came to the right place for help! Congratulations and Happy Planning!
