Newbie - 2011 DR Wedding

Hello Everyone! I'm so excited to join this forum. My Fiance loves to research. He found this site and now I'm completely hooked. I'm originally from the Dom. Republic, which I thought would make the planning process easier. However, I quickly realized I have been in the US for so long I really have no idea where to start. We only know we want to get married in the summer of 2011 and we are looking at the Punta Cana or La Romana area. I have a vision of getting married at Altos de Chavon and maybe hosting the reception at CdC. Please help!!
