No, seriously, it's YOUR wedding, no one else's. (And let's be honest, it's not really about the groom either - HA!) You guys need to decide on what you want and stick to it. Like you said, you know you can't accommodate everyone. So don't even try. If anyone has a problem with not being there, then let them rearrange their schedules to make it work.

 

I like the idea of stating on your invites that you're eloping and anyone that wants to come, can come.

Update: I am crazy and I folded. I changed the date back to our original (May 26, 200 We made a decision about what would be the best date and not really who we wanted there most but who we felt would appreciate us changing the date for and would be a definate show vs. who wasn't a guarantee and the vendors were all available so we switched it!!! But I am going to book travel I think this next week and once that is done...I can't change again...so it is what it is!!!!!

Great! You said the couple who would've missed it is a lot of fun so it will be great to have them there. I think the main thing is to set it in stone now so you don't have to change again. Then you will be stress free!!!

Oh yeah...it's set now...I am emailing tammy tomorrow probably (time permitting) and booking our trip! That way I am stuck!!
