Another great photographer in the area is Claudia Rodriguez. Elizabeth Medina is a third, but I know she takes August off. All of them do really great work. But they are "outdoor vendors" so the Barcelo requires that they stay for a night at the resort "as your guest." The reason for this policy is because the Barcelo has contracts with certain photographers. They will allow photographers who come "as your guest." The policy seems to change from time to time, and from what I understand from other brides, they would charge $300 to bring in an outdoor vendor. I think now they either require you to pay for the photographer to stay a night in the hotel, or you pay for a guest pass. I'm not entirely certain... I probably need to find out!! Photography is one of the most important things for me, so we're willing to splurge a little.

I wasn't a Barcelo bride but I think they have fairly strict policies about outside vendors esp. photographers. I would double check on that before you book someone!!
