Most Jamaican weddings would be incomplete without rum cake. They're usually sliced and placed in boxes as favors.

Where do you get the rum cake?

You can get the rum cake at the shops there but they are expensive I believe when I went they were over $5 a box, guess its not too bad depending on how many you have to purchase. Also they will work with you if you buy lots of it!

Does anyone have a source for discount jerk seasoning in bulk?

I'm actually working on finding some bulk Jamaican seasoning (at a decent price) as we speak. Has anyone had luck at Sam's or Costco?

I was actually thinking of getting the Blue Mountain Coffee for guests since my guest group is small. Only about 20 people and most of them couples. My travel agent mentioned that the resort (Sandals) sells them on site with the Sandals logo on them, but not sure how much they are so I'm uncertain as to what to do. Does anyone have any ideas of how much they are and where may be the best place to get them? I'm thinking if I get them at the resort it will be more expensive.

Where in Canada are you located? If you are in Toronto - you can probably get Blue Mountain coffee at a West & East Indian market. Otherwise, you are best to search off the resort for coffee. Are you going to be staying in Montego Bay, Ocho Rios, Negril?
